The Society of the Sisters of St.Ann, Luzern(Switzerland) was founded by a holy and devoted Catholic Priest, Rector Wilhelm Meyer in 1909 in response to the crying needs of the time. He was born and brought up in Canton Luzern by Catholic Parents who gave him religious foundation in his early years. In his young age, he had a desire to become an architect. He listened to the inner voice of God and became a Priest. He founded the Society of St. Ann to take care of the suffering Mothers & Children. The Congregation was placed under the heavenly patronage of St. Ann.
